Oh, Baby!: Pregnancy Tales and Advice from One Hot Mama to Another
Chapter exert

I'm pregnant! What does that mean? Well, let's just state the obvious: I have a bun in the oven and I'm gonna be a mother. Someone's Mama. A role model, a rule maker, a caregiver, the Commander in Chief. Bigger than Big Bird, you betcha, when it comes to a little person's life.
If you've picked up this book, you're probably in the same situation. Congrats! Whether you were pleasantly surprised or it's been a long journey (it certainly has been for me), welcome to the club! Go ahead; give yourself a pat on the back and a thunderous round of applause. Not everyone can do this (guys, for example). I don't know about you, but I feel like Superwoman. The power! The head rush! I feel like I could do anything: climb mountains, swim oceans, run with the bulls...
But I should warn you -- this baby bliss won't last forever. For me, it started to wind down when I couldn't see my toes, keep food down, stop farting or find anything besides a small tent that would fit me. No, I was not feelin' like Ms. Fabulous in those moments. (And lucky me, they got to be televised for the whole world to see on my reality show.) But that's when I told myself that when it sucks, I'll just laugh. I'll laugh even when I feel more like screaming or crying or strangling my husband for knocking me up. Because you have to keep things in perspective and keep your sense of humor when the world around you is spinning out of control.
Will I screw up? Absolutely. Will I break down? Several times a day. But in the end, I am The Queen of All Things (and my hormones are raging, so you better agree...). And so are you. You're the Boss. Not your husband (sorry, honey), not your mother in law, not your well-meaning best girlfriend who wants you to give birth in a bathtub. You decide how this pregnancy is going to go, how you want to deliver your baby (barring any medical emergency), whether you want to breastfeed or go with formula (my boobs, my rules, I always say). Sometimes I feel sometimes like my head is going to explode with all the information that is being shoved in my face. My advice? You take what feels right, what works for you, and leave the rest behind. Start listening to your developing mama instinct. Yes, you should be well-informed and know your options, but in the end, you follow your gut. And trust me...by the time you hit the second trimester that gut is hard to miss.
This book is not meant to stress you out or dictate what you should do. It's my take on my journey, from month 1 to Delivery and beyond! It's the questions I asked my OB and the strategies I used to cope with every situation that arose, expected and unexpected, in the hopes that what I have been through and learned along the way can help you. You too can hide your burgeoning belly from coworkers for several months, tell well-meaning moms to keep their opinions to themselves (politely!) and stifle the urge to puke every time you smell food, all while looking sexy as you grow to the size of a small semi truck. I did it and my experiences may not be yours (hopefully, you won't have as much gas), but every woman goes through her own adventure en route to Mommyhood. Mentally, physically, and emotionally, it's a rollercoaster--that explains the nausea. I hope to help you get through it with dignity and style.
And you're not alone. I am in it with you. I admit that despite my bravado, I was scared out of my mind from Day 1. I actually find it hysterically funny that people call it "expecting" because I had no idea what to expect! How could I, when I know nothing about babies and pregnancy? I haven't done this before. Ever. And mind you, they don't teach Surviving Pregnancy 101 in college. If they did, we'd all probably be too scared to sign up for it. I am not one of those mothers that had been preparing to give birth since she was 2. I was focusing on my education and my career. I'm learning as I go along. I'm winging it, big time.
And soon enough, I'll be stronger, wiser and watching The Wiggles. I'm okay with it. All of it. Because in the end, I'm going to have a brand new baby boy and I can say, I did it. I rock. I am Mama, hear me roar!
Are you prepared to be a mom?
Well, you bought this book, so you better be! Or at least, be up for the challenge! Answer True or False to the following statements then check your score below:
1. Only wimps need sleep.
2. I prefer watching Barney over The Real Housewives.
3. I could change a diaper with one hand, hanging upside down, with my eyes closed.
4. I know that Yo Gabba Gabba is not Spanish for "I like to gossip..."
5. Showers are totally overrated.
6. I could stand to gain a few pounds...like, seventy.
7. Eau de Spit Up would make a lovely perfume.
8. I know what a Boppy is and I'm not afraid to use it.
9. I'm totally psyched to taste strained peas.
10. I'm cool with never again having a) a minute to myself b) boobs that defy gravity and c) sex with my husband.
If you answered True to all or most of the above, then congrats-you are either 100 percent ready to be a Mother, or you cheated on this quiz.
If you answered False to all or most of the above, welcome to the thrilling, terrifying, totally bizarre world of pregnancy and motherhood. You're in the same boat that I was in-namely clueless and trying to cram everything you need to know into the next nine months.
I thought I was a quick study-but this stuff is tough and sometimes deceiving. Case in point:
"You're registering for a Diaper Genie, right?" a friend asked me early in my pregnancy.
"You mean a big blue dude who will show up in my nursery and wipe my baby's butt for me? Sign me up!"
It's a lot to take in, I won't lie. But in the end, you'll be an expert in all things having to do with your baby. And one of the things you'll discover along the way is that a Diaper Genie is a garbage can that twists your kids' Pampers into a little sausage link that doesn't stink. Seriously -- how cool is that?

New York to Dallas By JD Robb [Nora Roberts]

New York to Dallas By JD Robb [Nora Roberts]

Nora Roberts Assumes her second most popular identity to script another Eve Dallas thriller.
My love affair with Nora Roberts go up and down like the worlds longest roller coaster since she has 170 million books in print she almost writes them faster than i can read them sometimes to fast ,yet some of  my favorite books  were penned by her also. But like i always said because i like a few of your books does not mean i will like them all. Nora writes under another name called J.D.Robb to put out a detective series with Eve Dallas as the super romantic super smart star of the series about NYPSD Lieutenant Eve Dallas .

Dallas and her husband are after a serial killer which lands them from NY to Dallas this is a special killer which has escaped from prison with serious ties to her past. This is one of the books by Nora where you will laugh cry,be scared, excited it is a emotional roller coaster with in depth research and descriptions which is Noras specialty.

Dallas isn't just a different location Eve and Dallas have history. As readers of the series know, Dallas is where Eve's life was transformed. I won't give any tips, but it should come as no surprise that the ghosts of Eve's past - a past she's thought she'd mostly overcome - are added to the tension of trying to seize McQueen the serial killer. I loved the character development this element of the story brought to Eve, even as it split my heart. And it wasn't only my heart breaking. Roarke, Eve's husband, is with her every step of the way. Not only do we see more of his character progression come about and the progression their marriage makes in NEW YORK TO DALLAS is merely lovely to observe. In many ways, Eve and Roarke make a unique couple. But one of the things I love most about them as husband and wife is the fact that they have the common problems couples have, not just big ones; they have to cope with both in this tale.It is romantic interesting and rekindles my love affair with Nora Roberts ooops i mean J.D.Robb.Below is amazon or Barnes and noble it is available for kindle or nook .

Chasing Fire by Nora Roberts review

Chasing Fire by Nora Roberts

Nora is one of my favorite authors writing one of my favorite books Three fates, after a few re releases and a very average book called the search Nora tackles suspense action romance thriller. After the last book the search  went to the dogs this one goes to the fire fighters one of them being a woman of course, a little better subject.

The smoke jumpers of Missoula, Mont., who routinely risk life, are the subject of this book, an enticing subject that was well researched and well written. This is a good book ,a really good book, my only complaint is way to much training manual, needs  a little more romance. You have a couple romances ,a couple murders,a couple major fires,  makes a good read and convinces me Nora is on her way back after a few disappointments.
Rowan is intelligent, self-sufficient and formidable and she isn't afraid to be in charge. Gull is rough, brilliant, well read and there is a chit chat of  digs that is fairly enjoyable to read. I would it like if we could have had about less forest fire instruction and more romantic relationship between the two because they were the type of heroes that you like to read about. There is also a wonderful  relationship in the book involving Rowan's father and a local school Principal.

Seeing Julia written by Katherine Owen review

Seeing Julia written by Katherine Owen review
I came to read this book because Katherine Owen started following me on twiter, usually when someone follows me i follow them back i clicked on her profile and she was listed as a author so i started checking around and sure enough she has had 3 books published along with some journals.I looked in amazon all 3 books were there so i ordered them. The first book i read was seeing Julia, i really wasn't expecting much as i had never heard of the author and i know the books were never on NY times best seller list or i would of seen them.Katherine Owen probably one of the most beautiful authors ever to publish also is extremely talented as writer i don't know how much of her life is in this book, but it is written as if she lived it felt it and battled the battles she wrote about

I will say this is probably the saddest book i ever read her ability to make you feel the pain, the disappointments and the emotional ups and downs is second to no one so exceptional i think a lot of her is in this book,if she did not live all or part of this, her imagination is amazing.

This book is about a moving, psychological and tumultuous ride through the eyes of a young widow. The story was so grasping, and all of the personas were so easy to love - I quickly became devoted to all of them. Jake and Julia were enchanting, but I also adored Julia's close friends. Her "inner circle", as she named them, is adoring, encouraging, and more than ready to kick your behind when you need it. We should all be so fortunate to have fantastic friends like hers.

The best part of this extraordinary book was the astonishing concept in the story: Acknowledging we aren't perfect - no one is. Mastering to be comfortable with who you are. Just be you.I love this author and i am looking forward to reading her other 2 books, she will have a best seller,  if she keeps up the quality i saw in this book it's a sad sad book but a great great read.  click the link to read more

Zero Day by David Baldacci

Zero Day by David Baldacci

Half way through this book i had to look back at the cover to make sure it was not a jack Reacher book under a alias name, the back ground is identical and the story similar it was a great book, but not as good as a Reacher novel but well worth reading ,it is a action packed thriller so you can not go wrong.I have a feeling there will be more book with Puller as the lead character.

U.S. Army's Legal Investigator Department Cause Specialist Bob Puller, Jr. trips his sibling Bob, a atomic researcher found guilty of treason at the US Disciplinary Barracks, but his sibling will not response whether he did it or not. Their dad the well-known Military idol would like to believe his most well-known son did not betray his nation.

At Quantico, Puller's Special Broker in Charge Don White designates the Cause Specialist to examine the killing of Immunity Intellect Organization Colonel Matthew Reynolds in Drake, Western Va. The official proved helpful at the Government, but what affects Puller is the DIA should be making the questions into the killing of the colonel, his spouse and two teenager kids in their non-urban home. He makes contact with Sergeant Samantha Cole, the private killing private investigator analyzing the huge killings, but she views him an undesirable outsider and functions accordingly towards accommodating Puller.

This is an excellent cops step-by-step loaded with a perspective that takes a local non-urban killing research rotating it into worldwide ocean as only Mark Baldacci can do and make it feel real. Puller is wonderful as the agent positioning the tale together. Visitors will appreciate this fast-paced thriller as Zero Day has come to Western Va and other close by .

Fatal Exchange Russell Blake

Published in the design of Agatha Christie and Arthur Conan Doyle with more creativities and changes then a item of licorice this publication kept me wondering to the end. I liked the connections between the character types and information of the offenses provided. I, of course, had it all exercised (not) but it kept me captivated throughout the whole publication.

It was a joy to study such a publication without getting missing or tired. The writer kept elements to be able but still included the Forget Marple wide range of down house investigator and the `keep your sight start so you don't miss the apparent clue' of the Holmes wide range.

For an old created rather excellent who done it this was the best one I've study so far. I suggest it for this category and may even go returning and study it again to create sure I got all the intricacies the writer was planning. I just really liked this publication.

Blake's Fatal Exchange had me connected from the first part. It is a busy, measures loaded thriller that you won't want to put down.
It starts with an eye fixed supplier who provides a thousand cash value of timepieces to an Oriental business owner. When it changes out the expenses are fake the experience is on. The counterfeiters recognize some less than ideal expenses are out and they want them back before anyone knows they are available.
Tess, a motorcycle mail, is the girl of the observe supplier and when the systems begin putting up she understands she is probably next.
Throw in a murderer that is focusing on women motorcycle messengers and you have one more perspective in the story.
Blake connections the and building plots together exceptionally in a convert you won't see arriving.

This is just a nice entertainment book that is well written i loved it.

Fifty Shades Darker book 2 review

Fifty Shades Darker book 2 review
After reading book one i immediately ordered book two as book one was a fascinating trip down erotica lane in a way i had never looked at it before.

Take a rich entrepreneurial dark sided handsome man and a shy with drawn virgin beautiful college girl as different as night and day put them together with some of the best character development i have ever read throw in a real defined absolute plot and some BDSM and you get one of the best books i have ever read.
The sad thing is people will see this book and thing it is a romance porn novel be afraid to pick it up when it is one of the best written books i have ever read to me it just happens to include some BDSM but this book is a love story that makes Romeo and Juliette look Luke warm.

Two characters that are so contradictory and conflicting yet so in love each trying to bring the other into there lives trying to understand his dark side trying to be flexible enough to understand why he is that way as looks into his past to find the cause. This is a very hot sexual love story of two characters you will fall in love with rout for and worry about as you read this novel. This book is so well written you will question your  sexuality after reading it ask your self was it the writing or does this really turn me on, is this what true love is a million questions go through your head, but do not fear it is just the fact this book draws you into the story so deep.Buy this book if you do not like this book send me a email ill refund your money just click the contact page,i have that much confidence in it,Read More
